About me
I am Mona-Lee Feehan, and I am running for Catholic School Trustee in Ward 71. I am deeply committed to Catholic education, and currently teach theology at St. Joseph’s College at the University of Alberta.
The Edmonton Catholic School system has shaped generations of my family, and I am passionate about giving back.
My father-in-law was Chair of Edmonton Catholic School Division (ECSD) for six years in the 1960’s, and my dad and brother taught for over 35 years in ECSD. I taught for the Catholic system for two years immediately following my BEd. I am a proud graduate of Archbishop O’Leary High School and a lifelong supporter of Edmonton Catholic Schools, my husband graduated from St. Francis Xavier, all four of our children are ECSD alumni, and now eight of our grandchildren attend schools within ECSD.

Why I want to be a trustee
I want to be your Trustee because I believe in publicly funded, fully permeated Catholic education and I can assist in making a great school system even stronger.
I have the time, experience, knowledge, and drive to be a dedicated Trustee. I am collegial, a team player, and know the value of collective efforts.
I have witnessed the success stories of this division, with many of my colleagues settled into fields that are creating a better, fairer, just society; people who contribute, who give back, and who know the value of support and gratitude.
